Black Pearl Don’t Cry

During all my years working within the fashion industry, I never received a commission to illustrate a model of color. In this piece, I was inspired to break this pattern, and depict a female Black model, shining light on the beauty and elegance of her features.

The pearls falling down her cheeks are a reference to the makeup and styling in Givenchy Fall 2015 runway show, but done in my own voice.

This is a digital reproduction on luxurious Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte in pigmented ink that will outlast both you and I.

Each print will be shipped unframed and rolled inside a protective tube with kraft paper and sealed inside a clear poly bag.
